This week I’m volunteering at Poacher – a Scout and Guide Jamboree in Lincolnshire. I’m once again joining the newspaper team, but this time I’m helping with editing and layout as well. Unfortunately this will mean I get to write less articles (although I still have a couple timetabled in throughout the week) but I’m thrilled at the opportunities my new role will offer as well. I’ll be learning a lot, which is exactly what Scouting is all about – Skills for Life.
All of our content will be published online at blog.poacher.org, and the physical editions will (hopefully) be uploaded to Issuu throughout the week. Our first articles should arrive on Sunday, while the first edition of our newspaper (called Best of Fest after a public poll on Facebook) should arrive on Monday!
